Imagine a warm Summer evening, the kids are chasing fire flies in the backyard, a chorus of cicadas form a natural mix with Duke Ellington, and a perfectly chilled chardonnay makes the perfect after dinner toast to old friends. Our hosts for the evening are Tom and Stacey Konopacki. Tom has just learned that a successful ten year career with a respected catalog company has come down to a choice of relocation or farewell. A few hours into the evening he mentions that he has always wanted to open his own store. After years of choosing things for a catalog he would love to have an opportunity to offer "only the things that he would place in his own home... the things worth searching for". From that point forward Tom has followed his passion in offering a unique collection and based on beauty and quality to a wonderful community. Welcome to Anastazia - Treasures for the Home.
Tom Konopacki
Tom brings over 20 years of retail industry experience to Anastazia. He started out in retail management with several department stores including The Gap. These years gave Tom experience and expertise in merchandising, visual presentation and customer service. An esteemed position with Spiegel Catalog introduced Tom to the Home Decor industry. This opportunity taught him how to find the best items available in the world. Tom, his wife Stacey and their three children currently live in Batavia, Illinois.
Anastazia
Who is Anastazia? The true identity of Anastazia is closely guarded. Some rumors lead to Anastazia being a close family friend and world style consultant who lives a seclude life in Lake Como Italy. Other reports point to an 18th century Duchess known for her global travels, exquisite collections and incomparable generosity.
